My Journey to Somatic Trauma Informed Coaching

Welcome! I am so glad that you are here. My name is Jill and I created this space for women who are ready to step into authentic living. Women who desire to discover what it means to live from a grounded state of self-leadership; especially those who have experienced the chaos of narcissistic abuse, the ache of trauma, or the overwhelm of trying to hold it all together for everyone else.

If that is you, you are in the right place and most importantly, you are not alone.

I am a somatic trauma informed coach, but my I’m a Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach and Narcissistic Abuse Specialist, but my path to this work wasn’t linear — and it wasn’t easy.

Like many of the women I work with, I’ve walked through the fire. I know what it’s like to lose yourself inside toxic relationships or motherhood. I know the slow, brave work of rebuilding your nervous system, one breath at a time. I know what it means to try to co-parent with someone who refuses to play fair. And I know how substance use can sneak in as a coping strategy when everything else feels like too much.

Along my journey, I discovered that many women were never taught how to regulate their nervous systems and are missing the joy and beauty of life. My deepest desire is that by sharing my story, teaching regulation skills and developing a safe community of connection, I can help other women heal from the inside out. If I can do it, anyone can!

This blog is an extension of my coaching practice: a place where we can explore healing together. You can expect posts about:

  • Nervous system regulation + somatic practices
  • Healing from narcissistic abuse and trauma bonds
  • Parenting + co-parenting from a grounded place
  • Reclaiming your body, voice, and intuition
  • Insights from polyvagal theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS)
  • Gentle self-love practices that go deeper than bubble baths
  • Real life stories from a mom of 6—there is never a dull moment

My goal is to share tools that are not only trauma-informed, but nervous system-safe. Because true healing doesn’t begin with changing our thoughts — it begins with understanding our bodies.

Whether you’re just beginning your healing journey or you’ve been on this path for a while, you’re welcome here.

Feel free to comment, share, or reach out if something resonates. And if you’re looking for deeper support, I offer both 1:1 and group coaching options that honor your pace, your process and your story.

Thanks for being here. I hope this space feels like a breath of fresh air.

With care,
Jill
